Everything was great, including welcoming staff and magnificent location close to many restaurants. Brand-new and clean hotel units with updated bathrooms which are nice and shower, for instance. Great stay, as always.

Laundry facility, Clean and well-kept condition, Convenient location for Lenz Field
The entry area by the front desk feels cramped during busy hours!!! The pool being down for maintenance was a letdown, as it is a nice feature when operational!!!

We were given a family room upon arrival. The location of the hotel was easy, near eateries.

It was just a great fit for a weekend adventure in Jacksonville with excellent value for money. The staff really made the check-in process fast and easy, a nice surprise. Check out the nearby places to eat. There's a lot within walking distance.

Convenience to the things we were in town for.
Do not understand having a hot (spa I believe you call it) tub that is only 4 degrees warmer than the pool? Really? Please do not waste my time telling me it is "the law" because the water temp in the rooms is much better (hotter) than the so called "hot tub" and no jet controls? Why do you waste money on this because this was the biggest joke I have seen in awhile for a motel.

We've stayed here dozens of times since our daughter attended Illinois College and stayed in Jacksonville even after graduation. We're always happy with our room and everything. Breakfast is always excellent too!
The only thing is that Hampton is a little more expensive than anywhere else. But it's worth it to us.

Business travelers need to know
The staff here were kind like family which makes you feel like home when traveling for work. They went out of their way like a well-oiled machine to ensure everything was perfect, even finding my phone charger that I forgot in the room. The coffee was on point and the breakfast had more options than usual for a chain hotel.
It wasn't the most affordable option but you get what you pay for.

Oh, the breakfast here was a showstopper! The red velvet waffles had my kids bouncing off the walls, and the coffee was hotter than a Jacksonville summer! Plus, those beds? Perfect for crashing after a day of culinary exploration! You won't find comfortable pillows like that everywhere.
I was wishing for a hot tub next to the pool, but honestly, that's just me being picky! Even with that tiny hiccup, everything else shined.

Check in and check out times were very convenient, clean rooms, nice staff
Wifi did not work at all, not sure if that was a hotel issue or my carrier. Understaffed- at times had to wait at the counter for someone since this person seemed to have other responsibilities.

Great stay with the kids.
The only thing that would have made it a little better would be a deeper, bigger pool. I thought the pool and hot tub were kinda small but for the price it was nice.

Clean room, nice breakfast area
Smoke smell was awful!!!! We were there for a college visit , reserved our room online so wouldn't give us the lower rate for visiting that weekend at illinois college! Hate to keep being negative but there was no a fridge in our room either. Disappointed in this hotel and wouldn't stay there again .

I had a fantastic stay! The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast options were surprisingly varied and delicious. My only issue was that the elevator was noisy!

The breakfast selection was terrific, especially the delicious red velvet waffles that my kids loved. The staff were accommodating and offered great local recommendations. I experienced issues with a barely warm shower on the first day, and the tub drain being closed unnecessarily was inconvenient. While the room felt modern and was well-maintained, these minor inconveniences impacted the overall experience.
